Gladiator II Story: Rome, circa 209 A.D. Sixteen years after the demise of Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Maximus Decimus Meridius in Gladiator (2000), the Roman Empire is now ruled by the tyrannical Emperors Caracalla and Geta.
